2007 Tours
Each Premo Tour is limited to 5 seasoned riders or couples. Our high quality, limited attendance tour allows you to reserve the facility for your small group or to allow you a unique environment in which you can meet or build relationships with people that share the same passion for the joys of a unique motorcycle tour.
Premo Tours provides lodging at the Chateau Grand Traverse Winery. The facility is the private home of the owner who has built an outstanding and comfortable lodging wing that fits the discriminating rider. Additionally, wine tours, tastings and a gourmet meal are part of the weekend activities.
Our tour begins just north of Grand Rapids, MI. After introductions and lunch at a unique local diner, we will begin our tour through the lower west portion of Michigan. Traveling through the Manistee National Forest we will head to Traverse City and to the Old Mission Peninsula where we will be lodged. Rest, enjoy a snack and refreshment and we will be transporting you to a local fine dining/gallery facility. Return to the Inn for a relaxing sauna, game room activity or pleasant fireside conversation.
Our second day begins after a light breakfast as we proceed north to tour quaint resort cities such as Charlevoix, Petoskey and Harbor Springs. Experience the Tunnel of Trees and a memorable lunch at Cross Village. If our time allows, we will be visiting Mackinaw City and Cheboygan before heading back through the inland lakes area in Cheboygan County. Returning to our lodging facilities, we will be treated to a winery tour and tasting before our 5-course chef prepared meal in the private dining room at the Inn.
Our third and last day will bring us through the scenic Leelanau Peninsula in which tours of a historic lighthouse, working fishing harbors and Sleeping Bear Dunes are all possible. Returning to the Grand Rapids area along the scenic west Michigan coast will complete your unique weekend event.
